Holland Land Company Maps
The Holland Land Office Map Collection is a 2007 digital copy of microfilm from over 600 original cartographic images taken from the Holland Land Company Archives (1789-1869) held at the Municipal Archives of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The maps and other records from this collection were microfilmed by the Holland Land Company Manuscript Preservation Project at Reed Library at the State University of New York at Fredonia, 1981-1991. The grant-supported project concentrated on locating, assessing, and reproducing primary source material that relates to the activities of the Holland Land Company in the United States. Other filmed copies of the collection (in whole or in part) exist at various locations throughout the country, including at Cornell University and the New York State Library in Albany, NY.
